About

Originally from Japan, I am a papercut artist and graphic designer, based in, South East Wales, UK.

My artwork is narrative, inspired by the flora and fauna. I love to walk in a meadow, alongside hedgerows, in woodlands, at coasts. It makes me a great pleasure to weave stories from the nature, which is precious and gives me numerous inspirations.

‘Light and Shadow’, this is a fundamental element of my papercut artwork.

The original paper-cut artwork is also used as stencils to create screen prints on paper and fabric, and laser-cut pieces and other digital graphic work.

I also work on illustrations by using original papercut artwork and other medium including screen prints, laser-cut and digital graphic.
